Wow! I am full! Brilliant food....brilliant service, and welcomed like family! Director Saab has done it again! A special dish made just for us...thank you Haque. The other great thing is that you can bring your own booze! A winner all round. 31st July 2018 After constantly visiting whenever I get a chance, I can not stress how wonderful this place is! I can not go over 5 stars otherwise this place deserves it. Never before have wee had this wonderful 10 star service! Always helpful, always accommodating.... even getting you ice for your alcohol that you buy elsewhere and bring in! Wonderful.... truly wonderful!
Excellent place, would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a nice Indian meal. We (2 people) ordered a set menu for 2, and it was a huge amount of food, especially for the price. We had to take almost half of it home with us! We were also served a couple of extra dishes not mentioned in the set menu for no extra charge. The service was extremely kind and friendly, and the food appeared pretty quickly. If I had to mention a negative it would be that the curries weren't as spicy/hot as I had expected, but that could just be the dishes we ordered, and the food was so nice that it didn't matter how spicy it was. Seriously, just go there. I know I will next time I'm in Leicester.

A small independent restaurant offering very high quality food and drink. Small, fresh locally sourced menu. Friendly and attentive staff. We really enjoyed our gin tasting board. Our one and only visit unfortunately as my son has now graduated and left Leicester.
I came to North bar and kitchen for lunch, had a nice warm welcome and what I really liked is the price on there lunch set course! I had a rump steak burger with hand cut chips and it was so juicy and really is the best burger I have had! You can tell that it is homemade , not grease with a soft toasted brioche bun 👌🏻

Found this restaurant on google very close to the hotel. It had good reviews and we were able to book a table online. It was a Sunday night so not sure it would have been a problem to just walk in. You could easily walk past this as the frontage is not huge and you access the restaurant down some steep stairs so hold on. Pleasantly greeted as we walked through the door, the restaurant had a nice atmosphere and the staff were very friendly. The food was nice and cooked very timely. The menu was south Indian which meant some of the popular sides weren't on the menu but I enjoyed the meal nevertheless.
Great service... Lovely food. Would come again!

Eaten here many times and the food is very good! Nice friendly staff and price isn't too bad.
Lovely warm friendly cosy place with the best indian cuisine and drink and ice cream and of course service

Good place. Nice ambience. Good North Indian food available. You can ask for different spice levels. And they serve food real quick and hot as well. Good place to go alone and with Ur friends. The owner of the shop is really supportive and he suggests you different foods. You can drop in there anytime after 6 till 11.
We eat at this restaurant regularly before LCFC games and have always been impressed by the good food and the excellent service. LCFC can be a bit up and down but not the food!

This was an memorable experience because of the excellent customer service provided by Luke during our graduation lunch. The restaurant was contemporary and relaxing. Our party of 12 enjoyed our wide ranging variety of lunches. My steak was succulent. The fries crispy. Luke waited on us and ensured we were treated like kings. A big Well done to the team.
Great food and friendly service would definitely come again

Usually have really good experiences at Ask, if there was half stars I'd give it 3.5. I'm not a huge fan of chains but Ask always has great offers on and usually tasty food. Last time I went though both me a my other half found the food not as nice as usual, my pizza base was a little under done and my girlfriend's pasta was just a bit bland. I'll give it another chance but I was suitably underwhelmed. P.S. it's nice inside, especially if the sun is out!
One of the nicest ASK restaurants we've been to. Lovely interior decor, extremely clean restaurant and facilities, and friendly welcoming staff. The food was great and we weren't rushed once.

Lovely pizza. Better than Pizzahut or Pizza express. Service good, although to be fair they were quiet. Overall a really good experience.
Nice place to hang out with family and friends lovely food and excellent ambience.. bit loud and cosy in Leicester.. could get really busy some time..need to a booking in advance to be on the safe side..

Great place to dance the night away .. music brilliant
74 Narborough Rd, Leicester LE3 0BS, UK – 0116 255 1355
Really nice place to visit either during at the week or at weekends. With a small outside area great to sit outside and watch the world go by or have conversation with friends. Good range of beers to try or tea and coffee available. Friendly staff and good varied music not too loud (unless you visit at the normal late night weekend times for this)
One of the best bars in Leicester. Great cocktails, lovely staff and general good vibes. Great for weekends partying or for a relaxed drink in the week.

Cocktails are superb and pricing is reasonable. ,Staff were really friendly as well. Will be back try a few more again!
Beautiful little bar. Good atmosphere and some lovely choices of drinks.

I love this place. The big sizes of portions are perfect for me. Chicken in Satay Sauce in soup and Won Ton soup are my favourite dishes. It's amazing, very warming and tasty. Prices are fair. Customer service is very nice.
Great service here, portions of food are big and the food was quite delicious. Their milk tea was quite good, although the bubbles were not the best that I've tasted in the UK. They also do delivery services, which could be quite convenient I imagine on days you might not want to leave the house. They also accept cards, which is quite a pleasant surprise as Chinese restaurants usually don't accept cards.

Great food experience
Good place for Chinese hot pot with plenty of variety. For me the staff were nice, despite what other reviews say. I think the fact the food tastes good makes up for it, as with a lot of Chinese restaurants.
219 Welford Rd, Leicester LE2 6BH, UK – 0116 270 8080
The only Chinese restaurant I know that makes the real Chinese food. Their patrons are mostly Chinese.... I'm a new addition because it stands to reason if the Chinese like the food it's gonna be good - It is good! Rather choose the half duck btw because 1/4 duck is not sufficient.
It's a nice place to go midweek
103-105, Narborough Rd, Leicester LE3 0PA, UK – 0116 254 1588
Food is nice. the Punjabi items on the menu are not great. But other south Indian food, street food, samosa etc are good
Really rate this place. Fantastic flavours and excellent value for money. And I'm not a vegetarian. My favourite curries, samosas, bhajis ever.
30 Narborough Rd, Leicester LE3 0BQ, UK – 0116 299 3300
In word sentence, they serve good food but no hygiene, health and safety. They took lots of time to fulfill the order. Even there is lots of flies roaming around. Nothing about the cleanliness, even they are not treating the customer very well however on food perspective they are doing very well all the food they are selling is nice and good. They are serving all authentic Indian food with approximately same taste. I went this place many time it can be more better if they think about my feedback.
Had lunch as treat out .Food excellence - you really have to try it. veggi Food at it's best

We've known The Good Earth since it was originally The Hungry I and did pancakes. We came here years and years ago when we first got together as a couple and call in every now and then, when we're back in Leicester. It's a bit of a nostalgia thing. However, setting that aside, this is an excellent vegetarian restaurant serving really great food at decent prices. Lovely cakes if you've got room and I rarely have after my main meal.. The Good Earth tends to do a range of vegetable bakes in sauces then gives you the option of adding a small or large salad, loading a plate yourself from a range of salad mixes in bowls. Juices, tea, coffee, wine and beer, though the choice there is limited. Soups are always available and it is worth looking at the menu as there is quite a choice. I think they also do live music now & then in the evening with a special meal. All in all a great place to eat. A bit of a Leicester gem! You don't have to be a vegetarian to eat here as the food is really good and is all made on-site. Staff are lovely!!!
Good fresh food. Mainly veg. Selection of hot cooked food a and salads. Could improve on their bread by offering wholemeal instead of white only and could improve on their vegan options. Friendly staff.

This was my first stop after being on an 11-hour flight from Los Angeles to the UK. Good prices and good beer. The group of Americans I was traveling with quickly got shushed by some elderly ladies, trying to have a quiet lunch time conversation. We apologized, and shortly left to continue our exploration. Would come back if ever in the area for a quick pint or some bar food.
It's a Wetherspoons. You know what your going to get. Cheap beer, good food, and the occasional drunk propping up the bar. Been here a good few times food has always been good. It does get quite busy in here, and finding a table can be quite a task. But, always a good selection of national and local ales to choose from.

It was a very hot day in July 2018. I was thirsty and being Monday I was able to enjoy lower prices for Mondays at Lloyd's No.1 in Leicester. One of the very few pubs with price list and food and drink menus on every table. Plus there is information in the menus like calories for each dish and percentage volume of alcohol for every drink. In today's IT world information costs money but in Wetherspoon pubs this much valued info for good health is provided free.
Fantastic atmosphere, I'm a wheelchair user and the staff couldn't be of more help and the pricing and quality of their food and drink is 2bd to none

The food was tasty and good value. As it was a hit evening they opened all the large windows so the terrace area became an extension of the restaurant and that kept everywhere cool. Only downside seemed to be lack of glasses.... I just got one glass for two different drinks.
We went for the curry and it was great value for the money and delicious. Going to go again as soon as we can.
